I think pictures capture these moments in time that connect us to our memories. These become landmarks and touchpoints for our journey through this beautiful life. Steinbeck describes this well in his book of the same name, “Cannery Row in Monterey in California is a poem, a stink, a grating noise, a quality of light, a tone, a habit, a nostalgia, a dream." As I have grown older, I think he wasn’t just talking about this one place, but rather our shared experiences in life.
